www.eigo-noto.com...

This photo on fickr has been viewed over 1,720 times and 17 people have called it a favorite. Just lovely! At first glimpse, the kids in the back of the class actually thought this was Tokyo Tower, Japan as I showed them an A4 of it. Find it here at :

Now here is just another amazing photo taken from the "Barrage Vauban" roof, looking North,
Strasbourg, France. Incredible shot with a 120° panorama and the light at this time of day. I love the grey contrast on the left to the white contrast on the right. Find it here at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/frenchy/2188306110/
It's a little bit funny that this picture was taken at Pazzo's in San Francisco. But I wanted to show the kids the most delicious picture of French Dip I could find. Too bad it was soaked first. The au jus really is supposed to be served on the side. Still looks yummy though! I think the shooter 'Rick' loves sushi, too, by the look of his other shots. Find it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/spine/2507215233/
Mike Vondran took this picture on January 3 2009, at Ipanema Beach, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. There were no comments on the page but I think this is a great shot. The first thing that comes to my mind is "travel leisure" and what a great image of Brazil for the kids. Find it here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/over_kind_man/3179806357/
One comment said this picture is worth a thousand words.
I like the solemn look about this shot and the kids knew exactly what it
was at first glance. Her facial features, slight muscle tone in the right arm, and the robe's creases are the main focus points for me.

"Here I am in the middle of Times Square in New York on a perfect
night. The sky was this strange blue color of a cool dusk night and every light in
the city was in full burn. Enjoy!" said by the shot taker. Find it here at:

"When I entered yet another tower, one after the other, giving the rhythm to the trek, looking form the window, it seemed so natural to take the camera out of the backpack and shoot. As simple as that, here is the landscape to make the picture. Add a cold wind, bringing the first scent of spring." Written by "robysaltori" and titled "Framed Wall" for the record. Awesome! So suddenly Namdaemun was destroyed by fire on 2-10-2008. "A fire has destroyed Namdaemun, South Korea's oldest wooden structure and a national treasure", fire officials said that Monday after. "Police have arrested a 70-year-old man in connection with the fire", according to the South Korean Yonhap news agency. The fire started around 9 p.m. Sunday and burned for hours. More than a hundred firefighters poured water on the more-than-600-year-old structure, trying to save it. After seeing this picture it almost makes me cry. The kids had already known these facts though which doesn't surprise me. Find it here at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tylerdurden/275643601/
I lava Korean BBQ too! Why are all these great food pictures from California? Taken at Manna, K-town, Los Angeles according to the uploader. "All you can eat for $16.99" That's about 1700 Japanese yen. Find it here at:

"During our trip in the Kimana National Reserve,
the weather was quite cloudy, and the Kilimanjaro
was almost never visible. It only got visible during
a few minutes, but still staying foggy, it's why I could
only get a medium quality shot of it...," said by the shooter. The green and gray contrast make me shiver. Briliant! Find it here at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tambako/1205321832/

This is the top spot in Japan for taking photos. Really, Kinkakuji has been dubbed the Most Photographed Spot in Japan. I think everyone in Japan has been here. But if you are ever in Kyoto, don't miss Ryoanji and the famous "wabi-sabi" rock garden. It's a 10 minute walk to the left (west) of this place and well worth it. Thanks so much to the shooter. Lovely shot!

If you are in Tokyo, Shibuya Eki (station) is definitely one of the places to go to. There are so many things to mention about this place, but I like the record shops the most to find the latest vinyl for my collection. Yes, the ENB can spin.
Thanks to the shooter for this awesome pic!

Such a nice looking couple and also a great theme for the kids, since they are Grade 6ers after all. Thanks for sharing! The place of course is Nagashima Spaland, home of the Steel Dragon, breaker of many world records for coasters. I've been there and done that and the first drop for first timers is the best of all. A good tip, request and wait for the front seat on your first time. It is well worth the wait if you are up for it.

In almost every class, the kids will also tell you "I want to go to FujiQ!" so I thought I'd search for this one. Thanks to the shooter for posting this one in creative commons and it certainly is proudly Pinoy!. Photo by scion_cho http://www.flickr.com/photos/scion02b/2765653784/

"Kuroshio Sea - The 2nd largest aquarium tank in the world." So there is no confusuion with this name, Kuroshio Sea, is the name of the exhibit. The name of the place is "Okinawa Churaumi Acquarium" just in case you want to look up the site. This is definitely one of my favorites! Photo by jonrawlinson
